First impressions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions on Mohu. gateway indoor anthennae. Stylish to place close by tv. It reminds me of computer speakers or high end designer speakers from Bang and Olufensen. Of course depending where you are, it varies how it will work for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Mohu Gateway indoor hdtv antenna and I really love how easy it is to hook up and attach to my television. I put it in my daughter room and she could watch tv in there and have more channels to watch. I will definitely recommend this to everyone that I know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not too bad, it's easy to install. It depends on where you put it, on how many channels exactly you'll get, but it's still better than nothing. You just have to keep moving it until you find it. The quality isn't too bad either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this sleeked looking antenna at first. It was super easy to set up and has a stand that you can hide behind anything or just stand up on your entertainment center and looks modern.
It did pick up about 30 channels, although a lot were duplicates, they channels were clear. Everything worked fine for about a month or so. Then all of a sudden there was no sound only picture. I tried everything on the TV to fix this. I tried rescanning, tried the audio on the brand new TV it was hooked up to, tried unscrewing the antenna and putting it back on and same issue.
Maybe i just got a bad 1 out of the bunch.

Hi Tina,
This is either a TV settings problem or a problem with the ATSC tuner onboard the TV set. If you have exhausted the settings route I would suggest to unplug the antenna and scan for channels, this will clear out the channel memory on the ATSC tuner. Next connect the antenna back to the TV and rerun the scan adding the channels back. If sound is not restored contact the TV manufacturers support team, they may be able to help further with the issue.
The video and sound signal is combined and encrypted when it leaves the broadcast tower, when the antenna receives this signal it merely passes it along to the tuner where it is decrpyted and then the TV displays the video and plays the sound. The antenna cannot separate the video and sound from each other.

This is supposed to get to 40 miles away. Also, the cable it not long enough. I would not recommend anyone to buy this
