I live in the South suburbs of Chicago about twenty miles. This antenna did not get me many stations. I then purchased the amplifier and I saw no change. in
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good indoor antenna that looked nice on the shelf. It really blended into the background, so it was hardly noticeable. The only problem was the fact that the range (40 Miles) was not enough to pick up all local stations. Had to return it for a new antenna with more range, one I would install outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great antenna for our bedroom! We don’t get a lot of channels upstairs so this worked great to get us to be shows we needed! We got our basic cable channels that we love to watch before bed, and it was easy to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works okay…. Sometimes. I had it several places and some places I do get quite a few channels. It’s fairly simple and easy to set up, but finding the correct spot to get as many channels as you can, can be challenging and frustrating but once you find a spot it works decently.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve had 4 or 5 indoor antennas, this is the best. Previous antennas didn’t always have a clear signal, the picture would occasionally drop out, some channels more than others. This antenna has a clear picture on all channels almost 100% of the time. Very impressive. And since it isn’t a flat/leaf antenna, it can be aimed directly at the source of the signal instead of being mounted on a flat surface like a wall or window, which probably isn’t. Precise aiming makes a difference.

Bought to replace flat Moni antenna that was working great but visually tacky hanging in window. Would prefer a gray cord to black. Would prefer smaller profile. Sets on fireplace mantle for now, but if cord wasn’t black I would hang it on the wall facing a window and not have it in view with tv above mantle.

I've had a Mohu antenna for more than 10 years. Recently, it started showing fewer channels. I called Mohu and ordered this new one. The replacement works very well, especially when I move it around a bit in my large window that faces a building. I don't know whether the computer in the antenna failed or if it was the cable. No matter. There's good value in this purchase. Though a little finicky, it picks up NBC, which is 60 miles away. It also picks up all of the other major networks, which are much closer, plus an assortment of other channels that cable companies charge for. Buying this antenna saves buckets of money immediately and over time.
