Feels incomplete

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this game with my 10 year old daughter. She loved the theme of the game. After reading the rules we played through the game. Something about it felt incomplete. The coyote seemed just move back and forth but never have any real effect on the game play. The concept of this game is fun but gameplay is lacking in excitement and any true competition. Maybe it can be improved upon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spirits of the Wild is a fun game with enough variation to keep it interesting across multiple plays. We found the instructions a little confusing at first with the different types of animal board, and the action tiles, but once we played a few rounds, we got the hang of it. We recommend it!

A Beautiful Board Game!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I played Spirits of the Wild…and I’ll tell you, it was refreshing to play an actual game that wasn’t in an online format! It is a 2 player game, which is perfect. The game is not long, about 30 minutes per play, but it is engaging. That pesky coyote did me in every time…LOL We really were impressed with the overall quality of the boards and game pieces. It is really a work of art (and it can be played in German, as well)! A very well done addition to our game library, and we had fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spirits of the Wild Awakening is a great product. My husband and I are big boardgame fans and we enjoyed this immensely. The rules are easy to understand and execute. Setup of the game before play is simple and quick. Game play is both fast and entertaining. We enjoyed the concept of the game and the concept of a combination board/card game. The quality of the product is very good. Pieces are of high quality and sturdy.

Spirits of the Wild Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited to play The Spirits of the Wild game together. They are 10 and 12 years of age. The graphics on the package were very cool. My daughter is into Spirit Animals and mystic cryptids and this game looked like some of those videos she has watched. We aren’t a family that has played a lot of complex board games and this looked intimidating to figure out but once we got started it wasn’t hard at all. There are cute animals on each board and “stones” to collect. A little bowl for the stones and a fox figure used in game play. My kids were instantly hooked.

Coyotes and Stones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Liked the concept of the game. Kids enjoyed the stones and animals and the story of the coyote. As with any new game, it took a few rounds before getting the hang of it. Kids enjoyed the game a lot once they got moving. Time length for the game is pretty accurate with estimated time on the box.

Unique game for strategic math thinkers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Interesting game with complex rules- best for kids older than 8. This was a great game. It has 2 different sets of boards and no game is ever the same. Players strategize how to earn the most points based on the placement of pieces on their two boards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this game was not a hit with my grandchildren, ages 10 and 8. They found it difficult and boring. We didn’t even make 5 minutes of trying to play the game. I wish we had more time with the game or maybe a video showing how to play and how fun it would be with the players enjoying themselves but it was not a good game.
