[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My latest purchase of the Mohu Sail Antenna is actually a Christmas present for my daughter who is building a new house in SC. So I am speaking from experience because I bought the same antenna almost 5 years ago and have been very pleased with it. I live in Dandridge,TN and I pick up most of my tv stations from the tri-cities area in TN which is 72.6 miles from me and get clear crisp pictures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a second Sail antenna as I have been well satisfied with the first one. Both the antenna and mounting hardware are quite good. I also like the first stage amp in this product as I believe that it improves performance overall. The original power injector failed, but Mohu replaced it. It does make it difference to direct the antenna towards the transmitter even though it is a multi-directional antenna.

Mohu Sail antennas are great. I have two, and the coax 30-foot cable was useful as I had to snake one over a door jamb to reach the window where the antenna was. The support was excellent -- I asked a couple of questions before buying, and the techs emailed replies right away. Goodbye to FIOS. Highly recommended company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for this antenna, but sadly that ended up not being the case. I purchased this antenna to replace and hopefully upgrade my broken Leaf Supreme Pro. I was excited that this was mountable and claimed to work installed in an attic. While I was able to pull a handful of additional channels with this, installing it in my attic didn't work out for me. I ended up with better reception sticking in in my window despite if facing the same way in my window as it was positioned up in my attic. This isn't what I wanted to do because I hate having it visible. If I didn't live in an apartment, I'd try mounting it on the roof to see if the reception was any better.

We have a few tips to try that may help. Try placing the antenna as high as possible, as trees and buildings can block the TV signals. You will also need to face the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. When positioned Correctly I get all the free channels I need to the Cabin, Ice Shack, House, wherever I want a TV. This is a good product for the price. Reference area is East/Central Wisconsin

Purchased this antenna based on reviews and item description on website for a T.V in our bedroom. It is located on the back, south facing side of our home. Unfortunately, all of our local stations are transmitting from the north and the "Amplified" Leaf Plus didn't help with the reception.

nothing special. in fact it preformed worst than the one I currently have from another brand. I chose this extended range version and I actually get more local channels with my old one mostly in the lower range frequencies that this antenna is supposed to pull in but dont.
I am a retired two way radio technicition and know my way around radio signals and antennas and all Mohu directions were followed for proper placement with the antenna mounted 8' up my living room wall for optim reception.
