Pretty Darned Good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another cord cutter here...you all know the story so I won’t get into that part.
First we went with a firestick for our programming but I missed my local news, weather, and sports reports. So I chose the DB-8e, mounted it on the roof and now I get 1 channel (FOX) on VHF (remember this is a UHF antenna).
The reason I only get 1 OTA channel is my location.
I live on an island 2 hours N. of Seattle (~60 mi. from any transmitters). Several hills and tress to interfere with my reception. When I first installed and scanned for channels I did get my local CBS channel but the next day when I tightened everything down for the last time it wasn’t there...haven’t found it again after numerous tries. St least I have 1 local channel.
We have had this up for about a year now with no other issues, but I am contemplating a signal booster or a taller mast and trying for more channels.
The overwhelming majority of my tv comes from the firestick and that’s good for us.

Great antenna, great company

The amplifier piece failed after 2 years, they sent me another one at no cost, no questions asked. After a hurricane ripped it off my 2-story roof, it was only slightly bent. I bent it back by hand and it still works just the same. It's been about 10 years now, still going strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to put together and was able to install on the pre-existing Direct TV mount. Works extremely well despite the fact that our house is surrounded by 80' tall trees and a woods--in fact, the picture is sharper and better than what we had with cable TV. We are also able to get 50+ channels now, far more than we got with our cable plan. We're very pleased with this purchase and wish we'd done this years ago. Excellent product with excellent, knowledgeable, professional customer service reps (we called multiple times for advise). Would HIGHLY recommend! Thank you Antennas Direct!!!

Great Antenna

I bought this antenna, will admit instructions aren’t that clear - would recommend they get a new technical writer and rewrite these - luckily found a YouTube video and had it not together in 15minutes - I have it next to TV in basement and it’s has great picture, all DTV sub channels - next is to get it up on roof and distributed to house - I have 30 channels all clear, very happy with this antenna - always go with a high gain ant. With greater distance than you need. I am with in 30miles from most all antennas and this High Gain - 70+ mile antenna does great!
