[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a mountainous area and getting reception is a bit tricky. We used a regular antenna and it did OK but this one pulls in more stations. If you aim it right, it pulls in a Spokane, WA station, 140 miles away, although our antenna is on a 20' tall pole. You do have to locate your local stations and aim accordingly. If you rotate it, you will get different stations. We picked our stations and just locked it into place. If you had some
sort of rotator device, you could get more stations, but we didn't need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the hills 75 miles from broadcast tower on a giant pile of lead it gets reception with a big booster. It isn't perfect reception, but it is slightly better than the 35 dollar antenna I had before

Some of them we can't get all the time, but the local channels and even some out of state channels come in great. It was wonderful to say goodbye dish!!

Called A.D. and after some review decided that since I live on the fringe of reception that the DB8e would be the one. It is really great. I get 12 crystal clear HD stations. Really works great.
