This antenna was easy to assemble and install. We were able to get one extra channel than our old antenna. But the picture now is excellent .
Only negative comment Not made in the U.S.A.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish I had known I had channel 8 on vhf as 8 and channel 13 as channel 35. Getting ok service but lost a few percent on vhf but gained 15 percent on most uhf channels. Assembly was easy and quick

Installed yesterday from about 70 miles from both Washington DC and Baltimore MD. I get most networks from both these cities. I bought the amplifier, but not the VHF add-on. I still get the VHF channels, which is nice. Installation was a breeze.
My only problem is related to one of my TVs. It is a 2013 Samsung Smart TV. It apparently has a higher threshold from adding channels during the "Auto Program" than my other TV (2013 Panasonic). So, the Samsung gets fewer channels. Additionally, this version of Samsung does not allow manually adding stations. Big bummer.. and not so "Smart". So, I miss out on 2 or 3 important channels on my main TV. This is all not a DB8e issue, of course.
In total, I get 60 channels with the Panasonic and 51 with the Samsung. The antenna works great so far, and I would highly recommend, just beware if you have the Samsung issue.

I live in a rural area with distant signals coming from multiple directions. Having the ability to aim this antenna in two directions is very helpful in bringing in clear pictures. I previously had two long range antennas in my attic. This antenna took the place of those two and does a better job at pulling in the available signals in my area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing do your research on what channels do you want to get. If you can put a antenna outside I would recommend this one DB8e. Just remember F,T,A tv is what it is. By accident I found a TV station 108.51 miles but I also had to compensate for other TV channels by losing them. Overall do you really need cable then this is the way to go. All day long I say. I put mine on a pole. If I want to turn it i use a monkey wrench at the base.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 unsuccessful attempts at installing antennas purchased from a different company, I found Antenna Direct and the DB8e Long Range model. It does what the others couldn't do, pulling in all antenna television stations from a 35 mile radius from my house. I installed the antenna in the tall attic of my 1 story house, and I have several 2 story homes & large trees around my home (I mention this because I know taller structures can influence antenna signals). According to AntennaWeb, there are an additional 4 stations broadcasting between 35 - 40 miles from my home, but it does not receive those stations (no one in my neighborhood using a variety of antennae seem to be able to receive those either though).
