Fantastic Antenna!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DB8e has proven to be a great investment. I have a few stations that are about 70 miles away and not in line with the majority of the towers in my area. The other antennas' I tried failed to pick up the stations reliably. This antenna has no trouble picking up the stations far away with 100% reliability, it even picks up stations 70+ miles away on it's rear side. It has the capability to steer the 2 sides independently allowing for reception of channels in opposite directions. The stations I wanted to receive are in 5 different directions and steering this antenna made easy work of it. Several times i've been asked how I get channels from Lansing or Detroit, and this antenna is the answer!
One major factor is definitely customer service. As a system integrator I check everything. When I spoke with the rep when placing my order he verified far more than any other provider. He checked reception location (and surrounding landscapes,) distance to the towers, transmission power, interference and power from other stations, etc. It's always nice when a company not only knows their products, but when they value making sure you get what you need without spending money on a product that's overkill.
This antenna has been a rockstar. I cut the cord and haven't looked back. I recommend it to my customers on a regular basis. If you're looking for an outstanding antenna, you've found it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The combiner for the two antennas causes too much signal loss. Don’t buy this antenna if you live in a fringe area. You can get a better signal with one of antennas direct cheaper single long range antennas.

Greetings! Antenna signals can be tricky due to fluctuations in signal strength coming from the TV transmitting towers and atmospheric conditions. We recommend you try moving your antenna to several locations and rescan your TV every time you move the antenna until you find the best signals. We do also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If these tips do not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your area. This will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. We appreciate your purchase and feedback.

I purchased the DB8e and installed it onto my rooftop, one bank facing NYC and the other Philly. Mainly for backup reception in power outages. I am able to receive over 85 channels in total. The great advantage is being to watch the Eagles on the local Philly channels when their not broadcasted on Comcast. I also purchased the Tivo Romio and am able to record TV as well as use the channel lineup. I added the VHF antenna which was an additional 20 dollars and get channels 9-13. The VHF addition took minutes to add.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a mountainous area and getting reception is a bit tricky. We used a regular antenna and it did OK but this one pulls in more stations. If you aim it right, it pulls in a Spokane, WA station, 140 miles away, although our antenna is on a 20' tall pole. You do have to locate your local stations and aim accordingly. If you rotate it, you will get different stations. We picked our stations and just locked it into place. If you had some

The antenna was easy to assemble and very easy to mount to an existing antenna tower I had beside my home. I mounted it about 3/4 of the way to the top of my tower and now receive in excess of 50 hi-def stations... beautifully clear picture!

Easy to put together, easy to install and easy to set up. Live 60 plus miles from towers. Got 56 channels on the first scan but most were weak. Currently have about 15 channels that are clear and reliable which includes all the major networks.

Great antenna

I live on a hill but my house is surrounded by pine trees. I thought a 20 ft. pole would be high enough that just about any antenna would give me a clear signal to most of the stations in the area (we live less than 25 miles from most of the station towers we want to watch). WRONG. I tried two other antennas and they were just about worthless. The slightest breeze would break up the TV signal. I decided to try one more antenna before going back to cable or fiber and it was this one. Wow what a difference! Rock solid picture to every station we would want to watch... and plenty more that we don't want to watch. The HD picture quality is actually better than the picture we were getting through cable. Very good product and good help from their service team.
