[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Removed the old Direct TV dish and mounted this to the mast. The dish had two cables. I connected the new antenna to the cable that runs into the house. It was already connected to a splitter inside. I did a channel search and got 20 channels to start (the closest tower is about 40 miles away). I did the second search per the directions and added 5 more. I am surrounded by many tall trees but the antenna cuts through it all. Highly recommended!

we already had a "ClearStream 4MAX™ UHF/VHF Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna" and thought this one would be a better one, (multidirectional) unfortunately it did not fill our needs and our neighbor asked about it, So offered it to him, (only getting 2 channels) put up the bowtie and he received 8 channels and was very happy with the results, So that being said , We were not over whelmed with the reception but he was very pleased so, I would recommend it but the ClearStream 4Max was excellent for out application 24 channels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the DB8e antenna coupled to the Element Unidirectional Outdoor Antenna using Antennas Directs combiner and the Juice Amplifier. We are about 60 miles from transmitters. We have it on a chimney mast at about 35' above ground level, System is performing well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fairly easy to install, we have a gambrel roof. We are picking up all the stations that are listed in our area. Never going to get cable. Enjoy not having the bill! Customer service is fantastic, worked with us through the whole process. Always there when we had a question.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed an antenna that could get stations from two very different directions, and up to 60 miles away. We also live in an area with many trees (up to 70' tall trees, and between our roof and the stations). We live in a ranch style home and I didn't want to have to install a TV tower... just wanted something on the roof, about 12' above the ground. This particular antenna is amazing. With the help of Antennas Direct we faced the two banks of this antenna appropriately so that it pulled in EVERY station in the two urban areas. One area was NW of us, and the other area was SE. Almost 180 degrees opposite of each other. I was a bit stunned that we could do this and have it work so well. I was also surprised, and pleased that it picks up two additional urban areas South of us... about 60-miles South, too. LOL, I ran those on-line "station finder" apps from multiple web sites and they usually said I'd get 3 or 4 stations... but with this DB8e antenna we pull in 33 stations!!! I am amazed. I had questions for the people at Antennas Direct and they were incredibly patient with me. I called three or four times for advice/help and they were fantastic to deal with. Very knowledgeable source of information, and even after the sale they helped me immensely getting the antenna tweaked for MY particular situation. Oh, and the product itself looks well-built and I'm not a "handy" DIY kind of guy... if I can install this thing, anyone can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was relatively easy with some confusion on my part regarding the use of the arrows comments in the instructions. The next challenge was determining the correct level of preamp required to get all the channels available without over powering the tv's (we have 6). A 30db amp is too much and an 18db amp is sometimes too little. 95% of the time the 18db works fine but I'm striving for 100%.
