[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a DB8e antenna coupled to a Clearstream 5 using Antennas Direct antenna combiner fed through a Juice Amplifier to an 8 output Distribution Amplifier. We are about 70 miles from the transmitters. We have it on a temporary mast at about 25' above ground level, System is performing as the sales rep told us it would at 40' above ground level. We will be able to give more accurate review of its true value after we get our 40' tower set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This antenna was easy to install and works great I am 30 miles from the transmitter and behind a mountain. It was so powerful I just aimed it in the general direction and the picture quality couldn't get any better.

Nice but hard to aline with stations. You know the general directions but till you get it up and tune it in you don't know exactly. To tune in both halves you have to put it up and down to ajust. After done I was getting 10 to 12 channels. So I added a 30 dB gain amplifier and now get 47 channels. They still fade in and out some but better channels than ever before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My quest for a good UHF antenna for my difficult location seems to have been completed with the DB8e. I am located in the foothills of Western Maine with my home tucked into the side of a large hill and plenty of trees to fight with. I have a tricky location which requires me to mount this unit on top of my garage to avoid trees directly across the street. When paired with a clearstream 5 for VHF signals and a good preamp, this antenna successfully maintains 20 channels of broadcasting from the Portland, ME market which is the best I have achieved yet. These towers vary from 24 to 52 miles away. On many occasions, I have received many stations from tropospheric scatter from Boston and Providence which are over 150 miles away. The bowtie design seems to work better for me in this location than a yagi and the ability to turn each panel eliminates the need for a rotor. All in all, I would most definitely recommend this antenna to anyone in a challenging situation for TV reception.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven't even made adjustments yet to the antenna and we have 25 channels on the main floor and over 30 channels upstairs. We'll make adjustments and see what else we can get. We installed it on top of the garage where the directv dish was. It is worth the money and no more satellite or cable bills that keep going up. We'll update when we make more adjustments.
