It was relative easy to assemble . Installed it in the attic , and it gets the channels we wanted for news and we even got some that the TV guide said we would not get. The clarity and sharpness rivals cable on its best day !

One year of INDEPENDENCE....!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Dish changed my program package dropping many of the shows I watched and Direct increased my monthly rate 4 times, I said ENOUGH.
I live 75 miles east of Dallas and 47 miles away from Tyler, so a long range antenna was required. I put the DB8e w/VHF kit on a 24' pole ran a 50' low loss coax and installed a "Juice" amplifier between the TV and converter box. Assembly and installation took me about a little over an hour. I get 60+ channels; the programs that are current are in HD and the picture is better than cable. I do sometimes loose signal during heavy rain storms but my dishes did too. I was initially concerned about the antenna seeming rather flimsy but it has held up well through several high wind storms, I would however consider the Stainless Steel model for applications near the coast.

I didn't actually keep the antenna because it didn't pick up much where we live. We're in somewhat of a hole surrounded by mountains, but I was determined to find out for myself. When it didn't work, the company was very willing to work with me and take it back.

I replaced a large antenna and rotor with this and get all of the channels in our area with the nearest station 35 miles away. It's lightweight, easy to assemble and install, and produces a great picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this antenna installed in my attic and I am pulling in channels over 50 miles away. We have a tile roof. I am not able to get CBS - there tower is in Clearwater,FL, about 70 miles. I think it is a problem with the constrictions of my space in the attic and not being able to face it in the right direction. I'll try that when it isn't wo hot.
