[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in an area that struggles to pick up distant stations. I had a massive Winegard that did a good job until it aged out, and was looking for a replacement, finding Antennas Direct after researching online. Cannot recommend them enough! For best results do yourself a favor and call them up, they cannot be friendlier or better informed, and will spend all the time it takes to make sure you get the best product. It made a difference, as I would have chosen another of their antennas, but was shown that the DB8e would fit my needs better.
This is a quality, well made product that is backed up with superb support, both in sales and installation advice. The DB8e has superb UHF dB gain and pulls distant stations with surprising strength. I paired it with a little VHF retrofit kit for $19 (which amazed me with it's effectiveness - a Clearstream5 would have been overkill), and a Juice preamp. All told it made for a clean and simple installation that effectively pulled in every station within 60+ miles. One nice thing about the DB8e is that it's two independent units on a frame that can be aimed individually towards stations that may lie in geographically different angles. You can fine tune your directions to grab the stations you want most.

OK Antenna cannot get all stations I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The antenna is ok. I only get 1/3 of the stations that I should get. With the high winds I get in my area I am having to actually over tighten the brackets to hold its position. My older cheaper antenna worked just as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

live in Maine, get 22 hd channels all very clear, no problems so far even in snowstorms, had 2 so far this year. have tried 3 different dvrs, and they all cause an a problem with my channel 6(wcsh)in snowstorm. when i hook coax cable directly in tv voila no, tv channel comes back loud and clear. no this is a great antenna, very happy i got it installed outdoors on a pole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 15-20 years ago when I first moved to Logan Utah I tried a antenna to pull in television. The signal stunk, and despite multiple different antennas I couldn't make it worth the trouble. 20 Years later after talking with a neighbor who was using this same antenna, I took another stab. Low and behold, it works. I get all of the networks plus more. 25+ channels, Most are great signals. As good as the signal broadcasts. Of course your not going to get great pictures on the little channels that show old westerns etc.. I have had Xfinity standard cable look far far worse, such that I wouldn't even watch it. I'm thrilled this antenna is working so well. I suspect I could have potentially used the less expensive one, but didn't want to take chances. Antennas Direct customer service was excellent!! They took the time to look my home up online and help me pick out the antenna. I used the Antenna Point which helped me point one antenna towards Tremonton, and the other towards Mt. Pisgah. Goodbye Direct TV, good by Cable. I get all my viewing needs off Apple TV and Antenna. Thanks Antennas Direct!! The most difficult part was doing the install in December when I was cold..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will buy another, they were very helpful,only think I wasn't happy about was no instructions, I looked on you tube but the few videos I saw I had to watch 100 times to figure out what goes where and which way. There were 2 boxes not 1 which I'm ok with that just wish I knew before I panic think something was missing.my main thing was the bottom line will it work...indoor antennas wouldn't because the hills and other obstacle. They told me what to buy and where to put it . Now my girlfriend is happy to cut her cable bill.
