I like the WiFi addition, the integrated SD and the best carrier finder. I have two of the 3. 0 pro and both have very very poor night video on highest resolution. One will not flash high for night pictures. Seems stuck on low no matter what setting. Hopefully an update will fix these issues. I also have 4 more reveal. 3 x 2. 0 and 1 pro 2. 0 have been flawless. If they get fixed I will renew my review.

Terrible flash/night video

The picture quality is good. The flash is atrocious. I had my only 2 original pro’s replaced under warranty with these and the flash is horrible. Will go back to the XB’s.

Takes good pictures, but the battery life is HORRENDOUS. Ears battery 3x as quick as my 2. 0XB. Have two friends with them as well, same issue.

Be careful using the camera's internal memory

TLDR: if you use the camera's internal memory, your videos and HD pics might get stranded on the camera forever.
The Reveal Pro 3. 0 comes with internal memory, meaning that you don't need to insert your own SD card. The camera can save video and pics to its internal memory. If you have a cellular plan for the camera, when the camera triggers it will send a medium-res pic to your app and save the video and HD pic on the camera's internal memory.
Video and HD pics saved to the internal memory can ONLY be retrieved by using the app to request the vids and HD pics be sent over the cellular service - you cannot retrieve vids and HD pics from the camera's internal memory by using wi-fi or a USB cable. Furthermore, if the camera tries and fails to send a video or HD pic via cellular (because of weak cell signal or low battery), it does not put the video or HD pic in a queue to send later (e. g. when cell signal or battery level improves). And you cannot re-request the same video or HD pic to be sent - the app won't allow that. This issue isn't discussed in the user manual.
The upshot is that the only way to retrieve videos and HD pics from the camera's internal memory is if you request it via cellular and it works the first time. Otherwise, the videos and HD pics will be stranded on your camera forever.
My Reveal Pro 3. 0 was in the field and said it had "moderate" cell signal and full battery. After it took some great shots, I requested the video and HD pics. The camera failed to send them but never produced an error message. I retrieved the camera from the field and brought it into town where the cell signal is strong - and it still didn't send them. I can't re-request those same videos and HD pics to be sent. I cannot connect to the camera locally to retrieve them. Tactacam support says I will never get those videos and HD pics.
The way around this is to insert your own SD card in the camera. That will allow you to physically remove the memory and read it using your own device. Of course, you won't know whether you'll need to physically retrieve the SD card until after a video/pic request fails. And needing to physically retrieve the SD card diminishes the whole point of a cell-enabled video trail cam.

REVEAL Xpro 3. 0 - what a great camera!

The REVEAL Pro 3. 0 is an awesome camera. As usual, the set up was quick and painless. The quality of the pictures and video keeps getting it better. I have mine coupled with the new Lithium battery pack and Solar panel on a ground stake. I haven't had to touch it all season!
The integrated internal SD card and internal dual band SIM makes this an awesome choice in for cellular scouting!
