Poor Battery Life

Battery life has been atrocious on our property. It’s not great cell service but getting one month out of some cameras is unacceptable. These are in optimal battery settings and low picture count. The 2. 0 are better for me.

Blurrr and trigger speed

I bought 2 of these to add to my daughter's plan. I love the features but the picture quality could definitely be improved, especially at night(I've tried all the different settings). I have had many trail cameras for years that serve as a comparison. I have 1 on a food plot in my back yard that I can see out a window from home. I have watched deer run 15 yards in front of the camera and NOT trigger a pic! Also, in video mode if the deer moves even at a fast walk, all you get is it leaving the view of the camera. Otherwise it is very nice after you get use to how the app works.

Not so good.

I recently purchased a bunch of the 3. 0 Pro cameras and 2 of the ultras. My plan was to slowly cycle out of the 2. 0 to keep my equipment new. The 3. 0’s must have a detection problem because after setting them up in areas with a lot of deer, I was getting very few pictures. When I went to check the spots I noticed a lot of feed was gone but again very few pictures. Our rifle season is open now and I have sat and watched deer regularly visit the cameras most times the camera doesn’t take a single picture. The sensitivity is cranked up to 9 and I’m out of ideas. So far this has been a horrible experience and thinking about sending them back. So much money spent and so much frustration. These are supposed to be better than the 2. 0. They are worse!

I have 4 of these cameras. One i bought this year in August is junk. Was working great but when I switched from AA batteries to the lithium pack the camera stopped working. There fix was to reformat it. That seemed to work for a bit. Now back to the same I can walk back and forth past it sometimes it sends a picture most of the time not. As of now I will be spending my money on a different company.

Great Trail Cameras for Great Trail Pictures

Have a couple reveal pro 3. 0 and they have been sending great pictures. Have used other brand cameras in the past and picture quality doesn't come close to these. The app is great and easy to use. Will stick with tactacam when buying additional trail cameras.

I like it so far, I am having an issue with my original one the battery life just stated to act up it was at 70 percent last week at this time and now it at 10. Any ideas wha could be wrong with that one now.

Dune with Tactacam

Completely dissatisfied with product. Initially bought the first tactacam reveal years ago and had no issues, bought a second one a few years ago, the reveal X. Started having problems with both of them, so I upgraded too the 3. 0 Pro. I get pictures, but I have set many days in my blind this season and watch deer or turkey ain't my feeder, 10 yards from the camera and no picture, it's like the camera decides when it wants to work. Will be seeing so my cancers and going to another brand, (just as a test put my buddies camera right beside my tactacam, and it didn't miss a beat. I don't know if the issue is connectivity, says it is strong, or if it is just bad quality.

Battery killer. Expect to change batteries often

This is my 10th camera. I always run lithium batteries inside and a 12V external battery on all my setups. This Pro 3. 0 just doesn't last more than 7 - 10 days on that setup. It is a battery killer. I reached out to them online and they just say it's sending a lot of pictures. I've had this camera for almost 3 months and if I don't changer external battery every week it will die. Horrible experience. All my other setups like this last for a minimum of 6 months.
