Not very reliable

I purchased this camera at the beginning of November, 2024. It has been deployed for about a month and have had several issues with the micro SD card losing format. Photos, which are supposed to be HD are far from it. In addition, it eats batteries!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hit or miss

I have two of these that I bought at the beginning of fall. One works fantastic and catches animals like it’s supposed to, transmits and overall is great. The other will randomly lay go off on hours long episodes where it takes random pictures. Does not ever catch animals even though tracks will go past it. I have tried moving it to different locations and angles and nothing helps it. It will also randomly go quiet for a few days at a time before spamming a thousand photos back to me.

Not taking pictures

I have done everything correctly on set up. These cameras seem to work when they want to. I have to go out to my cameras on a regular basis to get it to take pictures. It is always saying it needs a valid sd card when the sd cards I have for the cameras are one of the best ones you can buy. These cameras are junk I would not recommend the g36 cameras to anyone. Very disappointed

Junk save your money

I bought two of these. They both worked for maybe a month. Now one camera reads 255 degrees farenheight and doesn't take pictures. My other camera keeps getting SD chip errors. I purchased a class 10 SD as recommended. Very disappointing. Don't be me and waste money on these cameras.

Great camera

I bought this last week to replace my Link Dark . This camera is tops. Great daytime pictures and night time pictures. Great price. Takes better pics than my Link Dark did and Link Dark cost 3 times more than Flex G36. I highly recommend. The only problem I have is I use a 12v battery and my friendly raccoons pull on battery cord and stop transmitting pics. Maybe needs some type of cover or lock over power cord.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No custom schedule option

I have five link micro cameras which allow you to set a custom schedule so that your camera is not taking pictures at certain times. This is an essential feature that is very handy when the daytime sun can cause your camera to take picture after picture. The only way I can prevent it from taking picture after picture during the sunny midday hours is to set the delay longer, which I don't like having it too long during the hours I would like it to take pictures. When the drop down is selected for the operation mode, standard is the only option given even though the information icon explains the other modes that should be there when you click on it. The camera also takes a picture every day at the daily sync time. I have a friend that bought a new flex-s and that camera does not allow a custom schedule either. I am actually amazed that no one else has complained about this issue.

This new model was wanted to be different and with different options, especially with the addition of the video option to also differentiate it from the other model, as well as for the options of the application that corresponds to it, but we understand that this option is essential for you.
