The ease of setting up high quality cell camera is priceless with this camera. Being able to take instant snaps prior to going into my stand is a key chess move for me so I don’t spook anything. As always the footprint of the devices is as compact as they get when it comes to an all in one solar set up. Highly recommend this product.

I now have 3 of these cameras and they are awesome. Easy to setup, easy to use and with the solar built in my batteries lasts forever compared to other cameras I have.

Terrible Tree mount location

Tree mount screw is directly over the battery charging port - Very poor design placement! When screwing camera into tree mount, the screw goes into the battery charging port. Poor design, yet they won't replace my battery. Developers should've done more research and thought it through.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great solar panel and love the No glow

I just purchased my second flex-dark-s and had to keave a review after running ym first for a few months. This camera has worked flawless for me. And the no glow option has made this camera just disappear to the deer it is pretty open where i have my camera and the deer pay no attention to it. I have had the camera out for months and still gave plenty of battery life in the camera dont see why I shoukd ever need to go to the camera but to change out cards qhen it is full.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best cell cam I own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only ever used Spypoint cameras and the Flex S Dark is the best one I’ve tried. Setup was super easy, pictures are clear (even at night), and the battery lasts a long time so I don’t have to mess with it all the time. The cell connection is reliable and I love that Spypoint gives 100 free photos per month — it saves money and keeps me checking my spots without extra fees. If you want something simple that just works, buy this — I would.

Great picture/video quality

This is the best camera Spypoint has to offer. Picture and video quality is excellent. The no glow is a huge plus and being able to refresh the camera manually is convenient. No more having to wait hours for the HD request to process. Having sound is also great as I can hear the deer and pig eat/grunt/snort as well as other hunters that happen to pass by.
I would rate it 5 stars, however I have found that the detection range on my camera is more like 75-80 feet, not the 100ft listed. I have a ground blind set at 110 feet away and a trail that comes down towards the ground blind at 90 feet. This camera does not detect anything coming down from that trail and will only detect something if it makes a left and heads another dozen or so feet towards the camera. Detection quality within the 75 feet is great as the camera has been able to detect things as small as a rabbit or armadillo that are more than 50 feet away. The cellular connection with this camera is also much better than the Link Micro LTE cameras which can be hit or miss for no explainable reason.
I also wish that the HD video was longer than 15 seconds. On a couple of occasions, the video ends while an animal or person is still directly in front of the camera, and since there is a delay in the time of the video ending and the camera resetting to take another video, I miss some of the action. Since I hunt public land, that delay leaves out some crucial time when someone could be tampering with my equipment.
Also, the app is still kind of wonky. Whether using the app on my phone, or the webapp, many times the video does not play correctly, or it just lags in the middle and it takes several attempts to actually get to watch the whole video.
I would post some videos, but since I am being forced to utilize youtube instead of adding one directly from my account, I cannot.

This is the second replacement camera (flex s Dark). This camera at least works for two days and then stops working, my previous just stopped working. Then I get support saying put more batteries in and charge it up. Shut it off and restart it then it will work..... Yes for two days then nothing. After going through 24 or 32 energizer max batteries now, and basically not having a working camera for 2 1/2 months while paying for a subscription (I have spent enough to just go and buy another camera), I am done with this brand, going somewhere else next just not sure where. I do have a regular Flex Camera that is working just fine, just eats batteries, the reason I tried going with the "S". I would not recommend.

Dark daytime pictures

I received this camera and after charging it, installing it in the woods I received a notification about a firmware update, I accepted it and received another notification telling me it was successful. I received 1 addtional photo after update and camera didn't take another picture. Had to go back to the woods, check the camera and no lights were showing and camera was on. I turned the camera off and on again, the camera started working but received 3 dark pictures. The test picture button on the camera worked and picture was clear. I as well contacted an advisor, and they had no solution for the dark pictures. They tried to do as another person commented on here and ask me to retrieve the camera and go through a series of steps to test the camera, like do an external firmware update and that defeats the purpose of doing the remote firmware update. I received no answer and no direction on why it is sending dark pictures during daylight hours. It isn't all the pictures just an occasional really dark picture.
