Terrible Tree mount location

Tree mount screw is directly over the battery charging port - Very poor design placement! When screwing camera into tree mount, the screw goes into the battery charging port. Poor design, yet they won't replace my battery. Developers should've done more research and thought it through.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I now have 3 of these cameras and they are awesome.
Easy to setup, easy to use and with the solar built in my batteries lasts forever compared to other cameras I have.

The ease of setting up high quality cell camera is priceless with this camera. Being able to take instant snaps prior to going into my stand is a key chess move for me so I don’t spook anything. As always the footprint of the devices is as compact as they get when it comes to an all in one solar set up. Highly recommend this product.

Bought two new and put them out last week most pictures are black at night readjusted same thing I’m three hours away they say bring them home so they can adjust my other two are fine I use them for game and trespassing they suck

Amazing camera all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flex S Dark is a game changer in the low glow game. I have noticed that many species are not intimidated or scared away. Setup was very easy with a great user friendly app. The onboard solar panel allows for extremely long battery life and the sensitivity for trigger speed is fantastic, always catching whatever goes by. Instant mode is a great feature for photos right now and the ability to adjust the cameras schedule is huge for me on the job and around home. The video and photo quality is superb, which I use for marketing and printing excellent photos. Overall the Flex S Dark has great functions and is a great value for the cost. I would highly recommend this camera.

I wanted to like it but…

I activated my camera August 15, 2025. It is sitting in the middle of the food plot with absolutely no trees around it to cast a shadow. Until this afternoon it has maintained 100 percent on the cameras internal battery. Then all of a sudden I get a notice that the battery is low.
The picture quality is not great and the trigger speed is nowhere near .3 seconds. I watched 2 deer feed at the feeder less than 30 feet from the camera and only got 2 pictures and that wasn’t until one of them walked closer to the camera.

Best Flex Series Camera Yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Flex Dark series by SPYPOINT has been taken to the next level. I have been so impressed with my Flex S Dark over the last couple of weeks. The batteries seem to be holding up fantastic, the pictures are all the more crisp, and I have this camera in an area with not the greatest reception and it continues to just fire out pictures. I love the new door on the camera making it easier to open and close compared to the older flex series cameras. The new antenna is also really nice and to me seems more durable. This is a camera that is a no brainer for your scouting needs!

Great features .. less than great quality

Been with Spypoint for a number of years with currently 17 cameras. The Flex solar units are great until they are not great. These cameras are up 365 days a year near Del Rio TX so they can chewed on by the sun a bit. The issue is the solar panel itself and how it is anchored to the top of the camera .. just simple stickers underneath that's it. Two of my solar cameras lasted 1 years before the solar panel stickers delaminated exposing the hole the wires come through. A hole which allows in dust and when it rains water into camera body. The LM-S-LTE model does not have this issue because of its designed for the panel attachment since 2022 when I set it up.
So if you go with Flex-S units ... Monitor the solar panel for rise ups as the stickers are likely giving out.
