Really like the Flex S camera, just activated my second one and they are so easy to set up and get operating. The solar feature works great so far.

Great Camera

My father-in-law has a couple of the FLEX-M cameras for monitoring Deer and other wildlife for hunting. So, I was familiar with the brand and its features. I needed something to monitor some unoccupied property remotely after a break-in, and I immediately thought of using the SpyPoint cameras as an option. I decided on the FLEX-S because the built-in solar would mean less having to change batteries. Setup was quick and easy, and firmware update was straightforward. So far, these have been up and running for 10 days, and the solar batteries are still at 100%, so I'm optimistic that they will go a long time between needing to be serviced.

Good Camera, but sometimes spazzes out

I have two Flex-S. I have used it to take video and photos. The only problem I’ve had with either is that sometimes when I switch it back from instant to standard is that the camera will stop taking pictures until I go to the woods and turn it off and back on.

decent camera

Had my camera for two seasons now. Last year worked great with no issues at all. This year had problems with signal and had to buy an external antenna. since buying that antenna it has worked very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I looked at many cameras, and there were ones that were significantly cheaper, however, SPYPOINT cameras have premium features like the lithium battery packs and built in solar panels. Also, the price plan for the cellular pictures is ultimately the winner amongst all available. I have only set it up in my yard, where there is good cellular service, as I haven’t been able to make it out to camp where there is poorer service. Thus far, it works great and I am happy. I do think it would be nice if there was a bit of AI on the backend before it sent photos. Most of the photos have been of myself doing yard work etc. It would be great if it asked you if you wanted to ignore certain people, events, etc, to save on your photo uploads.
Overall, it has been good and if it’s this good at camp, I will buy more.
