Garbage

Purchased the Flex in August, it has never properly transmitted pictures. I have two Micro S LTE cameras that outperform the Flex and have not had a problem in 20 months. The Flex drains the battery, does not transmit pictures, and the service department has only made it work momentarily.

Don't be fooled by the solar panel, support just told me it does NOT charge the battery. Even with the LIt-22 battery it last less than a week. A total piece of crap

It's important to note that the FLEX-S is equipped with an onboard lithium battery that is constantly charged by the integrated solar panel. The solar panel replenishes this internal battery, which serves as the primary power source for the camera, and when it depletes to a certain level, the camera will switch over to the backup battery and utilize it as a power source until the internal battery is sufficiently recharged. This strategy optimizes the longevity of both primary and backup battery systems. Additionally, the internal battery can be supplemented with additional power sources, such as the eight-AA battery tray or the LIT-22 lithium battery, further enhancing the camera's overall battery life and resilience.

Having the same battery chargin issue as others

This is my 2nd Flex-S and both would not charge the internal solar battery let alone the internal "large" battery. All directions on pre-charging followed which took 12hrs to charge. Definitely an issue with this model

Stopped working

Bought this back in may and it worked for a couple weeks. Set it to take photos, then changed setting to video for couple days, then back to photos and it hasn’t worked since.
We have 3 other SPYPOINT cameras and have had NO issues for several years. 1 is a solar micro-link and 2 are only micro-links.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
