Not good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my favorite vacuum. I know it's not a "pet" vacuum but I still thought it would pick up more stuff than it actually does. I tried all the different floor setting on our carpet but none of them really seem to work to well. Very disappointed in this Hoover. After using this one, I brought out my other vacuum just to see, and the old one picked up so much stuff after vacuuming with the Hoover wind tunnel. The only thing I do like about this one are the attachments. Love that the wand is extendable and really like the flexible dust attachment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 dogs and a cat, so it's super important to have a powerful vacuum that can handle the pet hair, and this one does the job well! I was amazed at how much hair and dirt it brought up out of our carpets! It filled the canister in one vacuuming and I vacuum often. It is a bit bulky, heavy, and loud, but I suppose that is necessary for such a powerful vacuum. I really liked the upholstery brush better on this vacuum. My last couple of vacuums had a weird upholstery brush that spun and didn't really do much.... this one is much better! I looooove the dusting brush as well! It's big enough to do a wonderful job on blinds, walls, anywhere really. Best of all, no bending over to rewind the cord when I am done. I just push a button and it swoops it back up inside the vacuum....genius! All in all I see the Hoover being a great help in keeping my home clean for years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to state I got this for free to review. I like that it was easy to assemble and use right out of the box very clear and easy instructions. The retractable cord is the best but it's not very long so be prepared to unplug and move it around the house. I have carpet, hard wood and tiles floors and it worked well on all of them. I also have animals and I couldn't believe how much pet hair it sucked up compared to my old Dyson. The canister was very easy to remove, dump and clean. It is a little louder than most I've owned. I would recommend this to anyone that has pets and needs a good priced and quality vacuum.

Great Suction

The cord reminds which I love! I couldn't ask for anything more. I recommend this vacuum to everyone for all floor types.

Incredible vacuum!!

I vacuumed a rug that I had vacuumed (with another vacuum) a few days before and so much dirt came out! The rug looked brand new after I vacuumed it! The canister is easy to clean, the cord retracts great and the hose is super stretchy1 I love the different options for hard floor to thick carpeting.

Pretty good vacuum

The suction works pretty well on both my hardwood floors and my carpets. I do think the vacuum is very loud compared to others I have owned/used. But overall I like it and will continue to use it.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum for me is what I needed and didn't know it. It's been years since I had a new vacuum and I'm glad this Hoover came into my life. Put together was easy took about 3-5 minutes and only because we read the directions to make sure every attachment and hose was where it should be. I haven't used any attachments yet but that won't be for long, I have a couch and corners that need to be had. The Hoover Windtunnel is nice and size a little bigger than my previous vacuum. It is a little heavy which for me makes it seem strong and sturdy and I'm not bringing it up and down stairs. Ok now the suction man the suction is like no other I've had. You can feel it's pulling up dirt and whatever else is in the carpets and on the floor. I have a nice sweet and sour cat who's hair seems to be everywhere. You can just rub her and hair goes flying. I used my old vacuum over a spot and then used the Hoover Windtunnel let's just say we weren't cleaning the floor at ALL! My carpets are super old and I normally have to put the vacuum on the lowest setting but not with my new Hoover, it's in the middle not even on the lowest setting and it was pulling my carpet to its optimum clean. I could see all the cats hair in the catcher I could see the dirt. The only think that I'm a little unsure of is the rewind button for the cord. I don't know how much pressure and for some reason it feels like you will break it. I step down on it several times different ways before the cord retracts. That may be a me issue though. All and all I know that I would recommend and purchase another Hoover in general how much I'm pleased with my new vacuum.
