I love this television

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm really enjoying my new TV. I previously bought a different brand Android TV and deeply regret it. The functionality, the pictures and viewing of the Samsung is so much better. It updates automatically unlike the other brand. It's controllable from my phone and was easy to set up. I was watching TV in no time. I want to update my bedroom television and I'm sure I'll be purchasing another Samsung for it. Thank you for making my television entertainment a pure pleasure.

Shadowing around objects, inadequate processor?

We just bought this TV today from our local Walmart to replace the 70" tv we moved to another room. All of our tvs are Samsungs and that's the only brand we've bought over the last several years due to quality and never having issues with them. This tv is a big exception. Really the only issue, but a big one, is that whenever there is movement onscreen whether it was objects or people there was always a noticeable shadow around the object, almost like the processor in the tv wasn't fast enough to keep up with the moving picture. We tried adjusting the picture settings many different ways and made sure certain things were disabled that supposedly were usually responsible for the shadowing around objects. But no matter what combination of settings we tried nothing worked. We have never had to make much if any adjustment to settings on any previous Samsung tv we've bought until this one, with no success at solving our issue. We are planning on returning it to the store tomorrow and putting the 70" back in this spot. We aren't sure if we just got a bad tv or if these particular tvs just have inadequate processors for the screen size. Pretty disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the movement and shadows you are seeing on your screen. You mentioned adjusting quite a few settings, but I have a few that you may not have tried.
I believe you are describing a feature called Auto Motion Plus, which eliminates ghosting and blurring that occurs from fast-moving images. These motion smoothing settings look great on live TVs, like sporting events or parades, which are filmed at 30 frames per second. Most movies, however, are filmed at 24 frames per second and are not intended to be viewed with these features. When turned on, this causes the dreaded soap opera effect.
To Change Motion smoothing settings on your TV:
Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Auto Motion Plus Settings (Picture Clarity Settings).
1. The default setting is Auto. This means the feature automatically turns on and off based on the type of program being watched.
2. Select Auto Motion Plus (Picture Clarity) to change the setting to either Off or Custom.
If you select Custom, three additional options are available:
• Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting.
• Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting.
• LED Clear Motion: This option allows you to configure the LED backlight to sharpen fast-moving images. Select to turn On or Off.

I love the newest features on this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this samsung tv mostly for watching newest movies on the samsung movies app. But there's also a few more other features I love about this samsung tv. One feature i absolutely love is smart view. Smart view allows my to connect my Samsung Galaxy Z 6 Fold to my Samsung tv, then allows me to use my Samsung tv as a giant portable desk top computer. Also another feature i love is Dex. Dex is a feature on my Samsung Galaxy Z 6 Fold has that automatically connect to my Samsung tv, then allows me to mirror anything that is on my phone onto the samsung tv. This is very useful everyday in my business life! And there's so many other features that I can list all day, but those are my top 5 best features on my Samsung tv. So all in all I will have to give this samsung tv a 10.0 out of 10.0!

My second love my Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 63 years old so all I do is watch TV. Every electronics I own is samsung. My TV, sound bar, tablet and phone. I never had a problem with any of them.
The TV remote let's you go to Netflix and Amazon channels with a touch of a button. I'm hoping on buying a 85 inch if I could save the money. Samsung products are very reasonably priced. Buy a samsung and you'll never go back.

I am very pleased with this television. The picture is crisp and the colors are great. Only minor backdrop I have is I wish there was an optical jack available for a soundbar because I have to turn the volume up quite a bit in order to hear clearly. Otherwise for the price, this TV is more than worth the purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good tv, good value

I bought this tv a week ago. Picture quality is good. I use a surround sound system so I don't know how the tv speakers are. It takes a while to learn how to use the different functions of the tv, but once you learn them they are easy to use.
The only reason I gave it four stars is you can use the built in xbox app, but what they do not tell you the app does not support using a mic, so you can not talk to your teammates.
