Great TV, Awful remote and search capabilities

Tv works great. The remote is maddening. Tv loves to say use the microphone on the remote; however, Samsung forgot to put a microphone on the remote. Samsung also forgot to put a spacebar on the search screen so it’s really fun trying to search things. Buy a new remote and it’s solved, but for the price of the tv, Samsung could have done much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the TV as a Christmas present for myself. I love it. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. It truly enhances your viewing experience. It offers everything you could want in a smart TV and was easy to set up and program. The size was an upgrade and is perfect for the space I have.

Lousy remote.

This\n TV is garbage through remote control. You have to move all around to get it to work. The\nMost of the time , it doesn't want to work at all. This is all very frustrating. The picture's clear TVS looks nice. Let's just 3 love, can't connect to the TV I even got a new remote and it's still won't come back.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issues you are experiencing with your remote. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

First, please remove the batteries from your remote and then hold the Power button for eight seconds to reset the remote. Then, reinsert the batteries and try to use the remote again.

Next, Check if the remote is sending an IR signal. Take either a digital camera or use the camera on your phone or tablet. Point the remote at the camera, and then press and hold the Power button on the remote. As you hold the button down, look at the camera's screen. If the remote is sending an IR signal, you will see a colored light coming from the remote control.

If you do not see the IR light, replace the batteries with fresh ones and try again. If you still do not see the IR light, then replace the remote.
