Absolutely love the TV. Display and resolution is very clear. The colors come to life in the picture quality. The abundance of free channels is also refreshing. Easy to navigate and save channels as favorites. It is a great smart TV for the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Making choices for me
on November 5, 2025

I hate how like just like Outlook, you make changes to the system without even asking if I as the consumer want these changes. Point in case it was that the return button did let you toggle between two channels but months ago during an (unwanted) upgrade that is no longer the feature of that button, and I HATE that it was changed. Not that it has anything to do with it, but I have been a Samsung owner for years and own 3 right now but my Next TV will be a different brand, you can count on it !

Computer operations as a SMART TV are lacking and

The process of being a smart TV doesn’t.ALWAYS appear to be combat-able with the Cable TV interface.
A common issue with combatablity
Response from Samsung USBy Samsung Brand AmbassadorNovember 6, 2025
Fredj:

Sorry to see that your experience fell short of expectations.

- If you are using an external device, check the device’s audio output option. For example, you may need to change your cable box’s audio option to HDMI if the box connected to your Projector is using an HDMI cable
- Reboot the connected device by disconnecting and then reconnecting the device’s power cable.
- With a set-top box or cable box, check the cable connection and reboot the external device. If the symptom persists, contact your service provider.

If we can help with anything else, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat with an agent as well as manuals, software, and warranty info can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

Picture and sound or both losses.
on November 5, 2025
Posted by: Grace
I never had a tv turn off in the middle of watching it, or I never had one that would temporarily lose the sound. It’s so annoying to miss what we’re watching until the tv comes back on, or the sound comes back on too.
Response from Samsung USBy Samsung Brand AmbassadorNovember 6, 2025
Grace:

If your TV appears to turn off by itself, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.

See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > All Settings> General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer

If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer has been enabled and disable it.
- Settings > All Settings> General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
- Settings > All Settings> General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer

For the sound issues, please try the following:

1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.

3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.

If your issues persist, please get in touch with Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for:

Terrible just can’t to stay on just want to watch tv
Response from Samsung USBy Samsung Brand AmbassadorNovember 6, 2025
Cant get correctly:

I'm sorry that your experience fell short of expectations

Please try these steps:
1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage.
3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet.
4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

If the TV continues to turn off by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.
