Functions Not fully explained in specifications!

I bought this TV because it advertised Bluetooth. I wanted to use my headphones WHILE my wife controlled the speakers. It turned out that it was not possible! The TV was either speakers OR Bluetooth. You couldn’t use both at the same time. We sent it back the next day !!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great picture but unfortunately, that's the only thing that I found to be good. Let's start with the non-existent manual. I cough up a bunch of money to buy a samsung (I only capitalize names of companies and people I respect) and they want me to print at my expense, a 100+ page manual. They didn't even provide a quick start guide. Next, the remote. Nothing about what's controlled by the buttons. And, of course without the manual, no idea on how to use it. Finally printed up the manual and it still wasn't clear. A month later I figured out how to change volume. Now, the remote's getting picky about "HOW" you press the button. Total piece of junk. Now let's talk about sound. The jacks to connect this to a sound bar don't exist on this thing. Probably would work with a sound bar from 5 years ago but for a modern one, forget it. Overall, I'm sorry I ever bought this and will keep this bad experience in mind whenever I see a samsung product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad festurean

We have been kicked off Netflix several times and can not figure out how to get back on it. My husband is extremely upset about this situation. We hired a man to get us back on and he did. However, we have again lost the connection.

I'm very sorry you are experiencing issues with your Netflix app.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. I recommend enabling auto-updates to ensure you do not miss any Firmware Updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update> then select Auto Update.
Next, let's try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

Poor Quality

I bought this TV before Christmas 2024 and am not satisfied with the quality. My apps have difficulty connecting and time out. I can connect on other brands of TV's but not this Samsung TV.

We appreciate your feedback on the response time, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your DU7200 TV. You can check this by going to Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
If you’re experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi connection, we suggest you try the following:
1. Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible 2. Try wired LAN if available 3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router 4. Try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

Hulu app is incompatible with this TV.

Hulu app is incompatible with this Samsung TV. It continually buffers. Hulu works fine on all my other devices. (Tv, tablet, phone, ruku) Other apps on this samsung TV work fine, including internet steaming. Samsung customer care doesnt care. Picture is good. The remote is not very good. No optical output!

I'm very sorry you have experienced issues with the Hulu app and your DU7200 TV. Please try the below recommendations to resolve any buffering issues.
First, I recommend running a cold reboot on your TV. There are two ways to do this:
1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds. 2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
Next, I recommend ensuring the Hulu+ app is up to date by going to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the Hulu+ app and select "Update," if available. If the issue persists or if there is no Update available, we will try deleting and reinstalling the Hulu+ app. To do so, navigate to “Apps” on your Smart TV and select “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the app. Finally, select Delete, and select Delete again to confirm.
Then we will reinstall the app by returning to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Click on “Hulul+” and then select “Reinstall.”
Also, please ensure you are running the latest Firmware update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
If you continue to have issues, I also recommend checking your internet connectivity via the steps below:
1. Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible 2. Try wired LAN if available 3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router

Is this what I really wanted?

Still working out some bugs. Not as user friendly as my fire stick. Website said this model has a microphone and it definitely does not. That was disappointing. Also purchased a Samsung soundbar which does not stay connected well.

You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

Disappointed with Purchase

I normally love Samsung TVs, but this is the WORST TV I have ever purchased. It is difficult to set up. Where is the space bar on the onscreen keyboard? Why do I have to go to so much difficulty downloading apps? The Vizio TV I bought a few months ago was so much easier to set up than this tv. I am so disappointed in this product. I want to take it back to the store and get another VIZIO. PS make a better remote please... The one that came with the tv is horrible.
