The best TV features ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's be honest, worldwide if you look for a TV. I mean a TV (Televsion) you better go for a Samsung. The brand is serious and not just that in terms of featured they are unbeatable.
You buy it and check whether I'm joking or not.
Our homes and children deserve better, they deserve a Samsung TV.

Great picture. Huge value and easy to set up. Two minor issues. No optical port so I can’t connect my sound bar. Free TV defaults to F@x News, a channel that lost an $800 million law suit for propagating lies. It is difficult to change

Warning! No optical output

I can't believe it doesn't have an optical output! I can't use my Avantree wireless headset any more. The new style remote takes a lot of getting used to as well.

Thank you for your feedback on the DU7200 TV! Your TV offers 3 HDMI ports and is Bluetooth and Wi-fi capable. If your sound system requires an optical out port, you can utilize an HDMI to Optical Converter, which is available at most electronic stores!

Slightly disappointed

I bought mine about a month ago and when I first turned it on the screen seemed darker than my last tv. The clarity wasn’t the best but it was good. The colors tend to lean more to a red tint even after making adjustments. To me it’s probably about an average tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your DU7200 TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale any content sent to it as best as possible. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

Here are some tips to help improve picture clarity:

1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receivers, IPTV, and set-top boxes, to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
6) For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.

TWO REMOTE CONTROLS

To much stuff on home screen. Wanted it to connect to Dish Anywhere easily. NOPE. Still have Fire Stick and now TWO remote controls. PAIN IN THE POSTERIOR.

Hate features and remote what happened to the numb

I hate this tv the first day I tried to operate it and it made me so mad I disconnected it and didn’t touch it again for 5 days what ever happened to hook it up turn it on pick your stations? It’s a good thing I bought it as a spare so I don’t have to deal with it now I hate it talking to me

If your TV is announcing everything you do, then Voice Guide is turned on. Voice Guide is an accessibility function to assist users who are visually impaired. It is possible that you have turned it on by accident by holding down the volume button on your TV remote.

To turn off Voice Guide, navigate to Home > Settings > All Settings> General > Accessibility > Voice Guide Settings > Voice Guide.

Hate to say it but the absolutely worst tv I have ever owned. I’ve only had for 6 months but being trashed soon. Constant frustration trying to get a decent bright picture. Impossible.

It’s unfortunate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the brightness of your DU7200 TV’s picture. Please know that we are here to help you.

First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.

For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.

Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.

You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
