[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the TV quality and clear picture. Absolutely hate the software that is constantly interrupting my TV view and trying to get me to go to the numerous apps even when just changing a TV channel. If I desire to go to an app, I know where to get access to them. Don't need a software spy trying to constantly trying to get me to navigate to another app. Its increased the number of times i have to hit a remote button to just change channels by 3-4 keystrokes. Also, the new remote with no number pad not user friendly either. Luckily my 2021 remote model works with all the same functionality. Finally, the GUIDE is so huge it only shows 5 lines at a time and the bottom line repeats on every advance page. Thus, only 4 lines of shows per page. And the text is so huge it almost takes up the entire 70" screen. Have not found anyway to reduce it or get more lines. Right not the software is a pain in the butt.....

Thank you for your feedback. Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, which removes the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV Plus, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove.’ 2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service. 3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.
Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > All Settings> General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature
Finally, to reduce the size of your menu, go to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility.

Good enough with caveats

TV video/audio quality is good - better than expected for the price. But, the TV OS software is not very good. It's sluggish and sometimes crashes. Also, voice input almost never works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As a first time Smart TV purchase, this was perfect. Easy to set up and use. After a few initial qualms, we dove in and had it done. The picture is clear and crisp. The remote is user friendly.
