Great picture

Great picture, but the remote is tiny and menus are way too complicated. Frustrating. I use my TLC TV way more often because of this.

You can also learn how to use your remote directly from your TV. Just go to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide.

Excellent picture quality, beautiful clear picturesque view. Very user friendly, very affordable for a 50”, great on internet connectivity. It’s an upgrade from 2007 Samsung. My refrigerator, washer and dryer and 3 tvs in the house are Samsung. Also, I have the galaxy S24. My next purchase Samsung Stove. There is Samsung and Samsung, no others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great picture, no optical connector

I received the 65” version of this model when I purchased my laptop and it’s great I had to get another Samsung Crystal UHD! The wall mounted TV in my bedroom was a 60” and I couldn’t even read the basketball game’s score! This 40” easily replaced my 60” with the clear and sharp screen!!! Easy to mount and set up. Practical plug it in, connect whatever you’re using and follow the utility to set it up.
There is one downside and that is there is no optical connection. Figure that?! I couldn’t connect my Sonos soundbar because this TV doesn’t have an optical connection. So I ordered a Vizio soundbar which has a HDMI connection..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Considering returning this TV as the speakers are already blown out. The remote control is very bad, you gotta point it directly at the TV for response. Remote layout is very hard to operate. Remote has no voice to text option when searching for titles. Remote has no lights to help see bad layout of buttons which is very annoying. My 10 year old 30” Samsung remote has a much better layout and has back lighting to find the right buttons. Picture quality is pretty good but could be brighter. No screensaver options to add family photos. Samsung Analog system is immediately in your face upon startup, like they’re trying to force you to use their subscription system. Roku’s system and layouts are much better. It’s actually very disappointing for the price. We expected a much better TV for the price. Will probably try and return it because of the blown speakers alone. What happened Samsung?!?!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include: • Standard – Ideal for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces • Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency • Movie – Best for viewing in low light • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content
You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more.
