The picture quality, it's excellent. The sound is low. I need a soundbar, and then it's good and also will keep kicking out the fire stick for some reason. I'm not so good

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.

1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

Great TV

When we bought the TV it lasted for a month then stopped working. Then we tried to get it fixed and it that was a mental problem beyond explanation. But since it has been fixed the quality and function have been superb. Well worth the money if you can deal with the issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sound/Volume Is Horrible!
on May 20, 2025

This TV is a total disappointment. The picture clarity is average at best. I have seen better colors & contrast on low budget TV's. The BIGGEST disappointment is with the sound/volume/speakers on this TV! The sound is absolutely horrible! You can increase the volume from 1 up to 100 and the sound will only get louder by just a little bit. There is no bass or tremble. It's like listening to AM radio! I do believe Samsung made this TV with such horrible sound/volume/speakers in order to force you to buy a Samsung Soundbar and this is truly pathetic. I also purchased a 75" Samsung TV at the same time I purchased the 60" TV and the sound/volume/speakers sucks on that TV too! Samsung has been my brand of choice since 2008 with no complaints, however, if this is Samsung's new level of quality, I think I'm going to select another brand in the future. The only positive thing I can say about this TV is that I like the variety of preinstalled Apps. (LG may have a new customer soon!)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy it

I’d give my Samsung 55” UHD a ZERO if I could. It constantly stops to buffer. Sometimes 3-4 times PER HOUR. I’d throw it in the dumpster but it said it didn’t want it. This TV has only disappointed. Over and over again… I’ve tried clearing cache and unplugging it for a few minutes. I’d wave a magic wand if I thought that’d help - but it won’t. This TV is HORRIBLE and not worth the price - even if it’s free. Of course, I’ve yet to hear from Samsung. This is my second review and it’s only getting worse.
