No voice controll

When we purchased our TV, we were not aware it wasn’t voice controlled. Our Sony came with voice control, so we ( 81 & 84 years old ) thought all new TV’s had that feature. We are soooo disappointed ! My husband is handicapped and voice command was a real boone for hm !
I would recommend this to a friend!

We appreciate your purchase and are sorry for any confusion regarding voice assistants. You are correct, the DU7200 does not have voice assistants built in. However, they do work with Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

I have had this a month, the picture is great. I had trouble setting it up as I am a senior, very difficult to understand the instructions, the remote is way too small, should be larger and have bigger numbers!

The remote is garbage. Not user friendly. There is no mic for voice control. Picture is good. But that’s it. You can’t set up your Home Screen and move apps around. You have to live where they land or remove. Don’t buy this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. Please know you can adjust the apps you see on your home screen. To do so, please follow the below instructions.
Adding & Managing Apps on Home Screen:
1. Go to App Settings (these can be found at the bottom of the Apps screen) and select the app you want to move. The following options will be available: a. Add to Home: Move the app to your desired location on the Home screen. b. Delete: Delete app. c. Lock/Unlock: Lock the app with a PIN so only you can use it. When the app is selected again, you will be prompted to enter the PIN to unlock it. d. Reinstall: Reinstall the app. e. View Details: View the app’s information and details.

It id just ok. One issue I do have is , intermitently I get a very loud pop from the speaker and I have lost sound.

We appreciate you sharing details of the sound issue you’re experiencing on your DU7200 TV. There are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend trying:
1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.
3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.

Perfect resolution, I’m extremely happy with the purchase. I had purchased a TCL and there is no comparison with a Samsung.
