Missing Optical Port

Fantastic picture and the updates to Samsungs smart features over the years have made the TV much better but one glaring problem is the lack of an optical port. While I know HDMI ARC is the supposed to be better, I often have more trouble with it than just a standard connection plus it also eats up a valuable HDMI port. For a gamer who has multiple consoles and other random things going down to two ports is just obnoxious. Plus many of us have soundbars that don't have HDMI ARC on the sound bar itself. Just look back at the T400 sound bar and it has only optical and Bluetooth. It is just frustrating that all the other 2024 Samsung TVs have the optical port but not this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The DU72000F TV offers 3 HDMI ports and is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable, allowing a seamless connection across multiple devices at a time. If your external device requires an Optical port, we recommend utilizing an HDMI to Optical Converter. These can be found at your local electronics store. Please also keep in mind that an Optical port can be found on our DU8000F Series and above.

Great and Affordable TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything I own is Samsung and my TV is no exception. I recently purchased the Crystal UHD Smart TV and it is amazing. I love how I am able to connect my Samsung account to the TV. I don't usually pay much attention to the remote control but I love how minimal it is. No longer are there the buttons that you never use. The picture and sound are very high quality.

The software is lousy.

I would give zero stars. Really disappointed that Samsung skinned this TV with a whole new UI. The old one was fine, it just ran slow. Bought this TV as a newer version of the same TV from 2017 hoping a faster processer would make it usable but of course they had to upgrade the UI to something totally different which is a nightmare to navigate and runs just as slow as a 7 year old "smart" tv. Still have to waste more hours trying to find all channels. Captions always come on after turning them off. the voice assistant is still on even when turned off. I thought the Vizio software sucked but this might be even worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First, if your TV is not saving your settings, please ensure that your TV is in Home Mode by going to Settings> All Settings >General & Privacy System> Manager Usage Mode> Home Mode.
You may also want to try rebooting the TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
Finally, please know the DU7200 does not have a built-in voice assistant. If you have connected your voice external Alexa device, you can disable it from your personal Alexa app.

Lousy remote control

The sound and video are both excellent but holy cow is the remote difficult to use. If you push the wrong button it can take 5 minutes to get back to where you were. I hope there's a remote that's more user friendly.

This product has a beautiful picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV for the high quality picture. The colors are rich and clear, and so realistic. This is my main TV , so I use it for streaming and pleasure watching. I’m retired so I watch a fair amount of TV. I love movies, documentaries, horror, drama and family movies. The initial set up was so easy and quick to do. No problems. It’s amazing how different the picture is compared to my old TV.
