When shopping for a TV or a phone, I find the best quality and reliability from Samsung products. Recently I moved my phone plan to another carrier, but stayed with Samsung as the phone. In February I purchased a new Samsung 55" TV and added a Samsung Audio/Sound Bar. Great combination and wonderful picture and sound!

remote control and surround sound

The picture is great, hate that my surround sound will not work with TV and I really hate the remote control where you have to point it exactly at the corner of the TV for it to work. Wish I had the older remote that could be pointed anywhere and still work the TV.

85 inch TV

Bought the 85 inch TV about couple of months now and it looks great so far and no issue with it so far. Can't really tell the difference on it with my other Samsung TVs I have. The quality picture looks great and couldn't beat the price when I got it.

We love our Samsung Smart T.V. Having said that, it's also important to mention this...My husband and I are in our seventies. Smart does not come as easy to us as it does our younger generations. We cannot figure out how to remove the voicec from telling us everything that is happening, ie; channel changing, turning on, etc. HELP! Aside from just that, we love our T.V. and thank you for checking in with me about it.

I wish picture quality was better.

I brought the tv several months ago and the picture quality is not true great. The background for some tv programs are dark not to clear. What does it mean “Filmmaker is on or off”, this appears often in the beginning of a program.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for leaving a review for the DU7200 TV.
If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
Filmmaker Mode allows you to watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

I am very happy with the overall performance of my Samsung TV. However, there should be more ports on the back to be able to use older style sound bars. I am unable to use my sound bar with this model.
