Not happy with the picture. I own I own two Sony‘s and this one pales by comparison. I have tried to adjust the colors, the sharpness the mode of the TV and it just doesn’t look as good as I would expect.

We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung DU7200 TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks.
Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.
You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode • Standard – Default mode for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms • Movie – Best for dark room viewing • Eco – Energy-saving mode • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators
To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference.
Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

Getting rid of cable

I purchase after January when I purchased a previous Samsung smart tv. I love the fact that it works with my iPad and the tv line up that comes with the tv.

Hi Fed up,
It’s unfortunate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with your DU7200 TV’s image quality. Below are a few settings that I recommend adjusting:
Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

Great price for an entry level 4K TV

It's not the best TV I've ever owned but it's decent enough. The price was great but it's not as clear as my 55 inch Samsung 4K 8000 TV. Perhaps I need to tune it. However, it does look slightly better in the dark.

My old Samsung died. I bought this new one and I really like it. I have had no issues. Adjusting the sound is different from my old TV. I have had no problems with it and am enjoying it.
