Amazing TV

I love this TV. I thought 75 in might be too big but it's nice size for my living room. It makes my living room like I'm in rich person's house. Screen quality is amazing. Remote commands are also fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mixed feelings…

I was pleased with the picture quality… the sound… not so much. Often, I found it necessary to run volume at 50+…. & I only sit 15’ away. For whatever reasons, I am aware program volume levels are subject to change from show to show, ad to ad, channel to channel, etc…. Very frustrating!

Sound does not match up with TV Not happy!

The TV has a great picture but the sound is not what I expected.The sound and voice has a delay and that alone is very disappointing. There is no optical output to match up with the sound bar. The sound bar does not have an HDMI ARC input for the TV. The TV and the sound bar don't work together. Contacted support and talked with 3 people and did not resolve my issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. To address the audio delay, you may want to try the Audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.
To activate this feature, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through.

Listen clearly

Not a bad picture but the sound is horrible. We have to put it up to 40+ to hear things clearly especially if there is any other noise in the room. Sound quality is not it, IMO.

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

It is a huge TV

I mean...it's a nice TV and you get what you pay for, which is a huge 85 inch TV. However, I wished the speed of 60 MHz match the image. When watching video it can get blurred, your eyes hurt and cause virtigo if you are exposed to it for long a period of time....I would've wish and spent a little more money and get at least 120 MHz of speed that would solve some of these issues.

We appreciate your feedback on your DU7200 TV’s picture when watching fast-motion. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.
- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

This is a great tv. It’s the biggest tv I’ve ever had. And the picture is crystal clear. I have had several tvs and stick with Samsung because they’ve never let me down.
