55 INCH SAMSUNG TV REVIEW THE PRO'S AND CON'S

THE PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING. THE TV WAS PACKAGED EXTREMELY WELL. THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT GIVE A 5 OUT OF 5 REVIEW THE REMOTE NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. BASICALLY THE 55 INCH SAMSUNG TV IS A 5 OUT OF 5 STARS THE REMOTE IS A 4 OUT OF 5 STARS:)

Happy but not happy

It’s not my favorite Samsung I only buy Samsung and I have to say when my other one started having issues I new I needed to replace I did research but I couldn’t afford the one I wanted and read this one was amazing. Have to say not amazing sad but can’t do anything about now. The fuzzy quality is probably the thing I don’t like most besides the depth of the black point just not crystal clear and intense picture like my other one. I did read this model is a newer version well it’s not as good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features

We bought our tv about a month or so ago, we love everything about it, except that the volume needs to be turned all the way up to 35 in order to hear it. All the channels are the same. We aren't sure how to adjust it. Also, we keep getting notices on the scree about new policies & I can't hit ok to get rid of it. Other than those 2 things, it's awesome. If someone can tell me how to adjust the volume, that would be wonderful.

Hi Larry and Sandi,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your DU7200 TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale any content sent to it as best as possible. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

Here are some tips to help improve picture clarity:

1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receivers, IPTV, and set-top boxes, to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
6) For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.

I bought this 55” TV but a lot of times lost of volume. I was told to unplug the power to reset. I ‘m not satisfied with this because, I own a 50” Samsung before and I don’t have this problem.

Hi Peter,

We appreciate you sharing details of the sound issue you’re experiencing on your DU7200 TV. There are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend trying:

1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.

3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.

Also, please know, instead of unplugging your TV, you can run a cold boot through your TV remote. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

Love the picture quality and it's the low end TV

I bought my 65 in. about a month ago. So far I love it. It has more features than my old 50 in. Samsung. The picture has way more clarity. Thank you Samsung for making it affordable.

I bought this a month ago and I’m very happy with it. The only issue I’m having is the volume. It seems that it has to b turned up very loud to balance the volume. But it may b the programs.
