I’ve always had good luck with Samsung TVs. When I saw the price, I bought this 65 inch, and it amazed me.

Start up issues

So far good. I'm 73 years old and try to keep up with technology but; I don't like that when tv turned on it goes to home page every time and sometimes the sound is lost ( no sound ), have to turn off and several times for it to come back. other than that picture is nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Pele,
Thank you for your feedback. I have a few recommendations that may resolve some of the issues you mentioned.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, I recommend utilizing the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > All Settings> General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature
If you do not hear any sound, please check the below Settings:
1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.
3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.

My remote control doesn’t work! Please send me a new one!

Hi Mark,
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issues you are experiencing with your remote. Please try the following troubleshooting steps: First, please remove the batteries from your remote and then hold the Power button for eight seconds to reset the remote. Then, reinsert the batteries and try to use the remote again.
Next, Check if the remote is sending an IR signal. Take either a digital camera or use the camera on your phone or tablet. Point the remote at the camera, and then press and hold the Power button on the remote. As you hold the button down, look at the camera's screen. If the remote is sending an IR signal, you will see a colored light coming from the remote control.
If you do not see the IR light, replace the batteries with fresh ones and try again. If you still do not see the IR light, then replace the remote.

Bought this for the master bedroom a couple weeks ago and love it. My only complaint is the remote and limited buttons, which makes it hard to navigate with.

Love the size and the color. However, the REMOTE is horrible. I’m trying to find a replacement as I write this.
