This TV has a beautiful picture and color. I love Samsung Plus too! I also appreciate the smaller, sleeker remote.

Great picture. Probably the best picture we’ve ever had. Easy setup, great with sound bar and subwoofer. Very small scratches on screen, not noticeable when the TV is on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't use "Search because it won't allow space between words. Can't do "Closed Captions" on Prime Videos.

Poor design for sound assist choices.

My previous review noted that I could not connect the TV to a soundbar and optical device that works with my hearing aids at the same time. I was on a chat for several minutes and got zero help. I have four other Samsung TVs that do not have this problem, including two other 55 inch TVs, one of which is full sun. Samsung's response to my previous review said to by a device that will split the HDMI eArc port to serve both devices simultaneously but the chat said there is no such device.

Hi Herbic,
Sorry for the confusion. You can connect two devices with the Dual Bluetooth audio feature; however, one of the devices would need to be connected via Bluetooth.
If we can help with anything else, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. LiveChat with an agent, as well as manuals, software, and warranty info, can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

Old folks enjoying a new tv
on February 20, 2025

This was an exchange Samsung sent to replace my defective TV. It was easy to set up and sync with my other remotes and devices. The picture is very good. There are so many features that it will take a long time for us old folks to master them. We will enjoy learning. We are pleased to see 3 USB ports. We still watch DVDs! And get our channels from the Dish. This tv accepts our old fashioned ways. We are hoping to hook up our old Wii to the BIG screen, but that may be a challenge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Where are you sound?

This is my second one. The first one was sent back as the sound would periodically disappear. I followed instructions from the Samsung Techs to no avail. The new TV is better as it only has happened twice and that was weeks ago. We will see.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi JEM1,
We appreciate you sharing details of the sound issue you’re experiencing on your DU7200 TV and for your continued patience. If the sound stops working again, there are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend trying:
1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.
3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.
I hope this helps. Should your issue persist, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for: 1) LiveChat 2) Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info
