It does not have a keypad to enter in a number and is not voice activated or operated on the remote control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your purchase and are sorry for any confusion regarding voice assistants. You are correct, the DU7200 does not have voice assistants built in. However, they do work with Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

I’m disappointed

I am having problems with the picture when I’m streaming! I see white flashing while it’s on.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the screen abnormalities you’re seeing on your DU7200 TV. Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test.
If this occurs on all sources and the picture test, this may require service. For help with setting up a service appointment, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Great TV but new remote Ehhh

We bought this unit with the intention of standardizing all of our Flat screens to a Samsung. It was a great value for the money and it has a good picture quality. Unfortunately, Samsung decided to modernize their remote control. We still use air antenna and connect to the old standard channels on top of using the free Samsung free channels. The new remote was a disappointment and made our quest cumbersome.
