disappointed with sound qualith

The picture is good. The sound is not good poor quality. The voices sound muffled, tried adjusting thru settings with no improvement. We are watching movies etc using closed captions which we did not need to do with our old sony TV. It has been suggested that we buy sound bar more money to Samsung. Also the remote control has limited features. We have paramount + on ipad and it took quite some time for smart TV to get it going.

We appreciate your feedback on the DU7200 TV sound quality. Please try the below to resolve your audio issues.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
If you are hearing a loud static noise, it could be caused by electrical feedback. I recommend the following:
1. Arranging the cables and making sure the TV has good ventilation will keep it quiet.
2. Check the cables. Make sure all cables are connected firmly to the proper, color-coded inputs on the TV and on the external devices.
3. Replace the audio connection cable.
Replace the audio connection cable, even if it is an HDMI or RF coaxial cable. Then test again to see if the issue still occurs.
4. Try connecting a different external device to the same input on the TV.
If this does not resolve your issues, please perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.

Great value for the size and picture.

Was given this TV for a Christmas present, overall love it. Picture is very crisp and clear, plus at this size fills out the wall nicely. Definitely needs a sound bar or system, built in speaker not very loud. Initial interface when starting TV is somewhat confusing, I am sure will get easier as I use it more.

Awesome TV and PC Monitor

It very easy to setup. The TV auto-detected my mobile and imported the wifi settings and completted the installation quickly. I am using the TV as a PC and laptop monitor on the multiple HDMI ports. I am using the TV to play music video on Youtube. The video and color quality are awesome. The remote control is very easy to use. I am using the bluetooth paired to a stereo system at home and the sound is fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Picture Quality

Have really enjoyed watching the programs. The Clarity is marvelous, the overall viewing is most pleasant with the bigger screen.

The Television Doesn't Mesure Up

I hate the new TV. You completely changed the format from the older versions, which makes it harder for family members. I doubt I will ever buy another Samsung TV. The screen is too noisy with unnecessary junk. Smart Televisions should not be this complicated. The apps didn't even work. I had to call support to get them to work. Even then the support person said If I couldn't get the apps to work I could always return it. He didn't seem that invested into helping that much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is why we created step-by-step guides, to make it easier for you. To learn about your TV go to https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062199/.
If your apps are still not working correctly, we recommend first checking for firmware updates on your TV. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you do have the latest firmware, then you can next try a cold boot. There are two ways to cold boot your TV: 1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds. 2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Great 55 inch but needs work on volume!

Great picture and easy to use but not getting enough sound out of it. I have to turn the volume up to 75 a lot to hear what they are saying on movies. Besides that love the tv.
