Great picture quality, poor application integratio

I like the picture quality, but have not been able to set up voice activation (it is not simple) and use of the remote through the app has been inconsistent. At least 50% of the time I try to use the app remote, I get a message stating a new version is available for download and then it just gets stuck in a loop. One of the reasons, I bought a samsung tv was to integrate with all my other samsung devices and Alexa and that hasn’t worked.

Hi Davene,

I'm sorry for any confusion about controlling your Samsung DU7200 TV with an Alexa Device. You can control your device this way, but you will need to follow the below steps:

1. Download the Smartthings App on your Android or Apple device and log in with the same account that you are signed into on your Samsung TV.
2. On the app, you will need to add your TV as a device if you have not already done so.
3. Using the Amazon Alexa app on your Android or Apple device, connect the app to Smartthings, which should be under Devices> Your Smart Home Skills. Follow the prompts to sign in to your Samsung Account and enable the device.

After following the prompts, you should be connected and can now control your Samsung TV with your Alexa!

Nothing but good to say about my Samsung TV

I bought this about two months ago and it has proved to be a great choice. The picture quality and color is excellent and the remote works great and is easy to understand. I'm using the built in speakers and they sound just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Houston, we have a problem!

I love the Samsung format but I’m worried something is wrong with this tv/model. It continuously goes to a screen. Asking me to check device connection. I haven’t a clue what it’s talking about. I have nothing else plugged in.

We bought this just one week ago , two very nice gentlemen delivered it and set it up with ease. This is my first Samsung product and I’m absolutely thrilled with the picture quality and sound .So uncomplicated which is a beautiful thing in this complicated world we live in. The only reason I didn’t give this a five star is because it doesn’t come with a remote you can speak in to for channel or streaming selection. One of the reasons we purchased a “smart” tv was our assumption they all came with that option. Other than that we LOVE the tv!
