It has good features. Picture quality is poor

We replaced our Samsung in our living room with the 75 inch Samsung and I’m really disappointed in the quality of the picture it gives the one I replaced. We moved to our sunroom and it has 10 times of better picture. We’ve always been Samsung product users and just really disappointed in it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s unfortunate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the brightness of your DU7200 TV’s picture. Please know that we are here to help you.
First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

Nice picture

I bought this TV and am overall very happy. I was, though, really unhappy that it doesn't have a optical input for my Bose sound system. I will be trying the HDMI hookup and hope it's as good as the old TV setup

Bad Connectivity to Legacy Equipment

We bought a Samsung 55” TV a few months ago. We like the picture etc. but when I got the TV home I realized there are NO standard connections for USB or optical accessories such as a soundbar, DVD player etc. All that is supposed to be through their special USB port. Samsung does not appear to offer any connecting adapters — Best Buy knows nothing! All my legacy equipment is junk. Know this before you buy a Samsung!

Thank you for your feedback on the DU7200 TV! Your TV offers 3 HDMI ports, one USB and is Bluetooth and Wi-fi capable. If your sound system requires an optical out port, you can utilize an HDMI to Optical Converter, which is available at most electronic stores!

Good enough

The tv is good for picture and design, but this -ast week I have had trouble getting the sound to work. I have to go to settings, sound input, and then reboot the tv before I get sound. It is very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good. This tv is wonderful. I love that I can connect it to my smarthings app. I love how the movies and sports look. I am loving this. Hopefully, it will work for years to come.
