I bought this TV about a month ago. I am not crazy about it all. The sound is not good. You have to up the volume a lot to hear it well. Plus, the volume up button brings about the mute way too easy. Also, that same button turns on captions and the sign language lady shows up. All of this if you press or touch the button in the normal way. Too much activity for one little button!

Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung DU7200 TV remote and audio quality.
If the volume on your TV is too low, please try adjusting the below settings.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

The TV has a great picture and I have not had any issues so far. I do not care for the software. It is very complicated to figure out where things are, too many steps to accomplish one thing, when you search for a movie you do not always find it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful picture, absolutely awful interface. Every bit as bad as it was 5 years ago when I swore I'd never buy another Samsung because of the interface. VERY disappointed that the OS is as bad as ever, maybe even worse.

This Tv is just great all the way around it has great color it just a awesome Tv.
