Non-intuitive

I bought this before Christmas to replace the television that went out after the hurricane electrical issues. The only instructions that came with was how to take it out of the box and how to put on the stand. I had lots of difficulty with the non-intuitive channel changer. I don’t really understand what. Samsung smart TV does. Even my college aged daughter cannot get it to work properly. You think all I’d have to do would be to plug it in and it would work lol I wish I had bought something else. I mean how hard is it to add an instruction booklet

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the DU7200 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select the DU7200 TV to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support

Using remote

Very disappointed. You can only turn on and turn off the TV with the Samsung remote. This feature does not connect with my Comcast remote which is used to change channels. Do not like having to use two remotes. Had I known this I would have gotten another brand. Otherwise no other complaints with tv.

Great TV but I don't care for the remote. Had to find a virtual remote in app store with volume control buttons.

Remote functions not so great

The only problem I have is with the remote. It has buttons for 1 click to get to Netflix, Prime and Samsung TV. The issue is that when you press one of these, it doesn't always go directly there. Esp Samsung TV channels. It takes you to the home page and you have to press a few buttons and search for TV, or keep hitting the back button till it's goes to TV. Just a bit irritating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We appreciate your feedback on the DU7200 TV Remote. Please try the below troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
First, let's run a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
Next, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. I recommend enabling auto-updates to ensure you do not miss any Firmware Updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update> then select Auto Update.
Finally, you may need to replace the batteries in your remote.
