Camera Lense Protection is Lacking IMO

I really liked this case on my iPhone 8. It gave me peace of mind every time my phone accidentally fell. On the iPhone 12, however, it lacks enough depth around the lenses for me to have confidence in protecting them. I decided to return it for this reason. I think because of the square, and slightly thicker design of the 12, Otterbox decided to slim down the back panel to handle better. I’m confident the phone would still be protected during a fall, but the camera lenses might now make it. I would suggest Otterbox raise the area around the lenses if they want to keep this slim design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Protective but poor quality case

I’m not sure if it’s the batch or phone case model, but it’s been less than a year and my case is already starting to fall apart. It arrived slightly warped but mostly fit my phone. Now the side case buttons are starting to break off.
I’ve had Symmetry cases on my phones for the last 5 years and they’ve been great except for this one.

This is a nice case. The back and corners are hard material, while the top rim and ends are more pliable. It fits tightly but is fairly easy to take off when I need to charge my phone.
