Good product, poor long-term repair support

I own two SB-2000 units, and both generally perform well aside from a recurring issue. In both devices, the solenoid spring weakens after extended use. The part itself is inexpensive and easily replaceable, likely costing only a few cents.
The problem is not the hardware, but the lack of support. SmartBidet does not provide specifications for this spring, making it effectively impossible for customers to source or replace it independently. Instead, users are pushed toward replacing the entire unit for hundreds of dollars.
This appears to be a deliberate design and support choice that limits repairability and forces full-product replacement rather than enabling simple maintenance.
While the product works initially, the company’s approach to parts availability and repair support is poor and not consumer-friendly. Buyers should be aware that long-term maintenance options are intentionally restricted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install new seat lid!
