Great sound but am missing end pieces on sound bar and remote speakers would look much better and protect the connections!

The speakers hardwire fine to my projector. The JBL app that you must download to connect the speakers to wifi is pure garbage and will not connect to wifi. Save yourself hours or frustration and look for something with proper connectivity to your network, otherwise just buy speakers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice sound effects but it is connectivity issues between woofer and sound bar. Connectivity is very low. It is not consistent.

"Wow" were the first words out of my mouth when I hooked up the JBL 9.1 and 820w sound system. This truly is a unique sound bar with its detachable speakers and a massive Subwoofer that will literally shake the room. The Dolby atoms, 4K HDR truly provide you with the best sound quality and the detachable speakers on both ends create a surround sound theater like experience. The Subwoofer created tremendous amount of bass which literally shook my tile ceiling. The sound bar comes with multiple inputs such as HDMI arc, Bluetooth, optical and USB. You truly get what you pay for with this soundbar. You will not be disappointed.

THE EASE OF SET UP, AND CLARITY OF THE INSTRUCTIONS MADE IT A SIMPLE TASK TO SET UP THIS SYSTEM. i LOVE THE FACT THAT IT IS A TRUE WIRELESS SYSTEM AND THE WAY THAT THE REAR CHANNEL SPEAKERS CHARGE AND THEN ARE EASILY HUNG ONTO THE SMALL BRACKETS WHERE YOU WANT THEM.
I HAVE YET TO PERFORM THE ACOUTICAL TUNING SO THAT THE REAR CHANNEL SPEAKERS TUNE THEMSELVES ALONG WITH THE FRONT SPEAKER BAR TO THE SIZE AND SHAPE OF THE ROOM.
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND JBL SPEAKERS

Best Speaker for Non-Speaker Snobs

I am not one of your idiot friend's that claims to hear all the different spectrums of audio., and as such am not able to enjoy any speaker worth under thousands of dollars I am just some guy who owns an 86" lg panel and wanted some impressive sound for the big guy. I have had this speaker for just over 1 year, which I got refurbished at best buy for $999.00.
I can say without a doubt this is the best tv speaker I have ever owned (and I have owned many, I have a bit of a fatal attraction to these things, LOL) It has ridiculous power for any reasonable sized family room, and the detachable wireless rear speakers are a fantastic gimmick, but you can leave them hooked up all the time the sound is Great.
I was in here potentially looking to buy another one of these for my basement tv, and thought I should leave this review as I was so impressed with this speaker, and I like to look at the reviews, so Hopefully You found mine helpful. Cheers.

Cheaper Than Divorce

When I get home and the TV is on REALLY LOUD, I know it's because my co-star is trying to watch a game or the news while prepping supper or snacks. I hate to sacrifice nourishment for my hearing, or vice versa, so I brought this home and he can remove the speakers and bring them to where he is chopping stuff. One star is removed because it appears to be slightly off when it comes to syncing the acting and the sound. I blame the internet at our place for this, not the speaker. Still, I didn't feel comfortable giving a perfect 5-star review without mentioning this. Overall, an excellent purchase! I am really enjoying taking the speakers and putting them close to where I am sitting and enjoying the surround sound. It feels like I am right there, in THE PITT with NOAH WYLE. I highly recommend.

Not for someone who knows whats real 9.1

I bought it for $799 and still got disappointed. I saw so many good reviews but i think for many, this may be their first sound system. I found its sound quality is below average. Front speakers in sound bar nit clear, mixing up dialogues with sounds making the overall experience very bad. Lack of settings to adjust the sound quality and calibration. Not a good choice especially if you are paying full price
Only advantage no wires and its pretty clean to ise in apartments
