I miss the old docking configuration and I'm not a fan of any of the new USB C docks - they just aren't as dependable as the old docks used to be (for any manufacturer!) Originally purchased the Universal Thurderbolt dock but my laptop states that it isn't providing enough power to charge. I am returning the purchased dock and getting the "workstation" version.

I have had devices that barely lasted 2 years and wanted a device that would last longer. ThinkPad P16 helps me with my volunteering of our church’s slideshow and website. I utilize Adobe creative suite and this has been working at lightening speed. I would recommend this device for those who need a little more out of their device then a base model.

First time using AMD Ryzen setup and I'm pleased with the results. Battery life is great taking in consideration screen size and brightness. Not running hot under heavy load, at least on my tests.
