Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Main reason for the low rating: - No backlight. - No wired option. - Extremely high price considering what this is, and all the competition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wireless keyboard is just the right size and weight: portable, lightweight, solid touch keys, excellent performance. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first laptop in the 90s was an IBM ThinkPad; I loved everything about it, particularly the keyboard and TrackPoint. I looked for a wireless keyboard that could recreate that experience, and I was so happy to find the TrackPoint Keyboard II. Similar wired models were not providing the freedom of portability. I enjoy the ability to use the wireless adapter on one system and the BT connection on another. My only wish is to have a shell or cover to protect the keys & TrackPoint when it goes in my backpack. The keyboard is excellent; the keys are responsive and firm like any premium model. The TrackPoint works exactly as it would on any ThinkPad model, including some of its idiosyncrasies like drifting (if you ever used a TrackPoint, you know what I mean). Make sure the driver and software are installed on the PC to have full functionality. Without it, scrolling acts weird. If you have an Android device, a slider allows you to switch between Windows and Android mode. I haven't tested this. In summary, for me, this is a perfect ThinkPad companion. I wish it would have come with a carrying case or shell.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ability to toggle between iPad (bluetooth) and computer (USB). Track point works well. A little small.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great keyboard but flawed design. The folding feet on the bottom are very week and broke off in a few weeks (Plastic cracks). Currently in the process of getting a refund. If this is fixed it's a 5/5 keyboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent quality keyboard just as expected of Lenovo. I wish for the price that a backlight was included though.

Love the keyboard, hate the execution

After 8 month review I wish it had the same tactile feel of lenovo laptop keyboard. Instead it feels like a knock-off with poorly designed switches and leg parts (If they improve the switch, and leg failure for next revision I would definitely buy again)
I love being able to have a portable keyboard that I can slip into my laptop bag that mimics my laptop keyboard. However:
Legs are cheaply made, there are so fragile after repeated wear they break on you. I had to 3D print replacement legs. I will really annoy customers on the lack of stress test on an expensive keyboard (they break very easily)
Over time the keys become very hard to press. As a result getting a lot of missed key presses and strain on my outer edge fingers
Not sure why when laptop is plugged in via USB-C to laptop it doesn't recognize as USB-C wired perpherial. Still connects via bluetooth/dongle. This limitation should be fixed...
It needs a black-light! Or at least some glow in the dark ink
I would recommend this to a friend!
