I was going to give it 3/5 just for point #1, but that's too harsh. All in all very happy with my keyboard. What's unique here is the portability and sleek design. I replaced a corsair mechanical keyboard and definitely don't miss it. Something about the typing experience on these is so great for someone writing a lot.
Everyone knows the pro's of ThinkPad keyboards, so I will comment on what they missed this time around:
1) TrackPoint does not work properly. When I press and hold the middle click and move the trackpoint downwards, it does not scroll. Rather, it is as if you middle clicked your mouse and that circular pop-up shows up. Then you have to let go of the middle click and simply hover your mouse above or below the pop-up for it to move. Then left click to get rid of the popup. I'm sure this middle click pop-up has a name but I can't recall at the moment. Either way, I find myself reaching to my mouse to scroll now, which is exactly what I hoped to avoid. This is a must fix as many of the customers inclined towards this would get this for the TrackPoint.
2) No backlight. This is self explanatory. The keyboard is over $100 CAD - no excuse.
3) A version with the numeric keypad would have been welcome for my home set-up.
4) (Not really a complaint) Lenovo has selected a good set of hot-keys for business users. However, I do wish that there were others (such as play/pause, skip forward, etc) for media. And no, F12 custom is not enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost as good as a laptop keyboard...

A great, compact keyboard. I use a wired version of this as my primary keyboard. I also have a T530 laptop with a similar keyboard. The laptop keyboard is perfect, lots of travel, backlighting, good feel to the keys. Bother the wired and this wired version are not equal to that. No backlighting, and a less solid feel to the keys. Despite this I'm happy to use this keyboard regularly.

Best wireless, compact keyboard - almost perfect

I've used the Trackpoint Keyboard 1 for several years before upgrading to this 2nd Gen.

Overall, this is a very good wireless keyboard. The keys are ever so slightly more firm to press but are a bit quieter than the Gen 1. The main change is the trackpoint buttons - they are virtually flush against the top surface of the keyboard. Some people didn't like this change but I think you'll adjust to them quickly. The old Gen 1 trackpoint buttons ended up squeaking after several years of use; Gen 2's buttons feel sturdier.
Probably the biggest complaint I have about this keyboard is that it needs more support in the middle. The keyboard can flex slightly if you rest your palms on the bottom. For the price, I would expect better rigidity in the keyboard frame.
That said, overall, I am happy with this purchase. There are very few keyboards that are compact like this. Having the same layout as my other ThinkPads and also a trackpoint is just icing on the cake.

Fn / ctrl keys are swapped

So, good things first - amazing typing experience. If you've used X1 Carbon keyboards, this is pretty much it. The same keyboard, just on your desktop and wireless. Just what I wanted. On the other hand, the Fn and Ctrl keys are swapped and there is absolutely no way to change it - no remapping, no driver settings, nothing. And that is why I had to return it. If you do not mind the Fn key position, get it, it is a great keyboard.

No flaws, but I've only been using it for a month. You can feel the quality when you hold it in your hands

I love the truck point future. I’ve had a couple times where the cursor seems to move on its own. I’ve had to kind of jiggle it around and unplug it but otherwise it’s been wonderful.

Super keyboard for home work setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is a diehard thinkpad fan and wanted to make a more ergonomic workstation using her thinkpad laptop and a wireless keyboard. This keyboard was plug and play and has worked flawlessly. She is super happy and her neck pains have almost gone away. If you’re looking for a wireless keyboard for your home work setup, this won’t disappoint.
