Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
This is a wonderful option for those that make use of the TrackPoint (which should be everyone). The unit itself is well built and offers a wonderful typing experience. It is also quite flexible in its usage, as the keyboard supports both WiFi and Bluetooth. It also support for Android and Windows.
The only negative with this unit is the lack of backlit keys.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great ergonomics and fantastic precision. This is the first time I bought the wireless version but I have two wired ones. The this new model appears more solid and is really feature-rich. Works really well and keys are have the same nice feel as previous models.
The Android feature is new and useful but there's something missing from it to navigate fully an Android device: There is no way to scroll (a scroll-wheel would be nice but perhaps a combination of button and trackpoint movement would do).
Lenovo could really improve the instruction though, they are minimal and lack some key information.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery arrived dead on arrival, will not hold any charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't beat the quality. Same premium touch experience as your ThinkPad with no strings attached. Trust me: I wore out a ThinkPad 750 keyboard (FRU'd warranty) - this is better!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really great keyboard for a tactile but low profile experience. The trackpoint is useful for auxiliary pointer use when the mouse is inconvenient to switch to. The keyboard layout is compact and intuitive and it looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice keyboard, but ruined by the fact that you can't swap FN key and the Ctrl key maping. What a shame. This thing is totally unusable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Keyboard, I had the first generation Bluetooth one, This one is almost identical but has the USB dongle which I find a bit more reliable than Bluetooth, especially when you have tons of Bluetooth devices around. The typing feel is identical to that of your favorite Thinkpad and having the Thinkpoint and the mouse buttons right there makes it really easy to make quick moves without reaching for your mouse.
Love this keyboard, would buy again and definitely recommend.
