[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually quite like this keyboard. Decent quality but a bit flexy. Upgraded from a razer mechanical. Track point is why I bought it and was worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] works well. i like the square keys.
would have preferred a traditional thinkpad-style ultra-nav keys (with raised bumps, and not as wide) and touchpad (for quick zooming in and out).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The keyboard would not connect to its own bluetooth dongle. It could only be used while plugged in. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TrackPoint Keyboard I vs. II
on August 3, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the TrackPoint Keyboard II as my main keyboard with my surface pro for about three weeks now. Previously I'd been using the TrackPoint Keyboard I. I originally got it years ago to use the TrackPoint, but found the Left CTR key placement was the way to go vs. other keyboards. I can't go back now.
Compared to the TrackPoint I, Keyboard II has a quieter keypress. The keys are less jiggly (I prefer slightly jiggly/rattily). The mouse-buttons are less robust, and are not as recessed. When I type, my thumb touches the mouse buttons without pressing them. This did not happen on the first iteration, but they are out of the way enough, and there hasn't been any accidental clicks. I never spilled anything on my TrackPoint Keyboard I, but there are drain-holes on the bottom. Keyboard II does not have this. Keyboard II is heavier though, but more rigid and heavy.
I have not had any problems (so far) with the fold out feet, but used it enough to get used to the higher position.
I have not tried using the android feature.
On Keyboard II, the bluetooth connectivity is much faster. I can switch to using the keyboard with my mac mini when the wireless dongle is plugged in. Switching is fast enough, but not immediate (neither is logitech keys mini).
Why I took off one star: The keyboard doesn't remember the fnLock setting when you switch between the dongle and bluetooth or just turn off and on the keyboard (reverts to default - fnLock off), but unlike TrackPoint Keyboard I, there is a light that indicates that the fnLock is on. There is also a light that indicates CapsLock. I can't be sure, but I think the battery lasts longer on Keyboard I, but it lasts long enough on Keyboard II.
I can be just as efficient with this keyboard as with its first iteration. I still use Keyboard I on the go, and keep Keyboard II at home. If I could only have one, I'd choose Keyboard II because of it's ability to connect using either universal wireless, or Bluetooth, and because Bluetooth connects faster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the wired trackpoint and this is amazing ! I really like that it is a usb dongle (i heard stories about other keyboards having a delay which are bluetooth) I haven't noticed a delay (even when coming back to my desk.
I also love that is does have bluetooth, so I can connect to my phone and type text with my keyboard.
the feel is so much nicer then the trackpoint original (or maybe i'm comparing very old to new :)
I don't use the trackpoint mouse that much, but I love that it is included as I can and have the option to !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great keyboard. It would be really nice if there was an option to switch the function and control keys, but that's my only complaint.
